Description
This is one of the signs you see in Selma as you retrace the route that John Lewis, Hosea Williams and others walked on the historic Bloody Sunday march. Now Congressman John Lewis and others were nearly beaten to death by racist Alabama state troopers as they crossed the Edmund Pettus Bridge. If you look closely you can see that this historical marker has been damaged and is in poor condition.
